If you have found a wild animal and think it needs help on the Kansas side, these are the people to contact.

Caring for wild animals since 1989

Operation WildLife (OWL), provides rehabilitation and veterinary services to injured and orphaned wild animals in the Kansas City metro and surrounding communities in northeast Kansas.

As the largest publicly funded wildlife rehabilitation in Kansas, we’re dedicated to helping thousands of animals return to the wild each year, as well as educating local residents on how to keep wildlife wild!

Their website has a wealth of useful information.
